Service Project Update

There will be no March Service Project due to the Shamrocks Against Dystrophy collection being sponsored by SMAD this month.

In April, we will be having a collection for United Way.  For every $1 students bring in, they will receive a homework pass.  For classes that are not assigned homework, a different reward will be given.  Remeber, your generosity goes a long way.

We received thanks from Church Street Ministries in Berea for all the canned food that was donated in November.  They were able to supply 300 needy families with meal during the holiday season from our donations.

The Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundation of Cleveland was impressed with the size of our monetary donation from a school of our size.  Faith Evans, the person in charge of the School and Youth donation programs, expressed her delight with out students on the day of the assembly to kick off the program.  She said she never received such hospitality from everyone: the teachers, secretaries, principal, custodian and the students.  She was surprised at how well behaved and attentive our studetns were during the assembly.  Everyone deserves a pat on the back for the success of this great project.
