The Academy of St. Adalbert provides a quality early childhood program that promotes a safe and stimulating environment. Such an environment promotes the spiritual, social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of the child. Children are provided the opportunity to investigate and explore their world creatively in a hands on environment.

The Preschool program at the Academy of St. Adalbert follows the guide developed by the Diocese of Cleveland which includes the Ohio Department of Education guidelines and requirements. In doing so, our developmentally appropriate Preschool program provides opportunities for our students to explore math, language arts, social studies, science, religion, music, and art.

Classes are limited to 12 children in the three year old class, 14 in the four year old class, and 14 in the pre-kindergarten class.  Classes are in session from the beginning of September until the end of May, following the annual elementary academic calendar.

Three year olds attend on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and four year olds attend on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM.  Four year olds and young five year olds enrolled in the Pre-Kindergarten class attend Monday through Friday from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 PM.
