It is that time of year again for our students to put on a Spring Musical. The following information is very important so please keep this letter for future reference. Homeroom teachers will be sending home reminders as well.

Our Spring Musical is "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Father Keller Center.

The students will need to wear:

Kindergarten and 1st graders are the children of Hamelin. They should dress in their Sunday best. Girls should wear pretty dresses with sleeves or skirts with a nice shirt and school shoes (no tennis shoes). Boys should wear blue or black dress pants, a plain dress shirt with a tie or their school shirt and school shoes (no tennis shoes).

The 2nd graders, 3rd graders and 6th grade boys are the Rats of Hamelin. They should wear plain colored tee shirts (black, brown, white, or gray) with jeans and tennis shoes. Also, they may wear sunglasses because these rats are so cool. The homeroom teachers will be making ears and tails for them, if you have any ideas or are willing to help please let them know.

The 4th graders, 5th graders, 7th graders, 8th graders and 6th grade girls are the townspeople. Girls should wear pretty dresses with sleeves or skirts with a nice shirt and school shoes (no tennis shoes). The dresses and skirts should be below their knees or to the floor. Also, they could wear un hats with flowers. Boys should wear blue or black dress pants and a plain dress shirt with a tie or their school shirt and school shoes (no tennis shoes). Also, they could wear suspenders and hats.

The students came up with some great ideas on what they could carry or wear on stage, so if you have any of these items please send them in ASAP. Baskets, bread, dolls, kites, silk flowers, sun hats w/flowers, grandpa hats, footballs, baseball w/gloves, stuffed animals, cheese, milk jug, books w/book bags, and water buckets.

We look forward to seeing you on May 15, 2008! The students need to be at school in their homeroom by 6:30 p.m. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Mary Wetter

Music Director
