Dear Parents,
The end of school is coming near!  Our school copy machine is not currently working.  Because of this, I am unable to copy the student’s homework.  There will be no homework this week.  We will work on spelling during school and have a review test on Friday, but there will be no ‘formal’ homework this week.  The words listed below will be the words on the end of the year review test.  It will be going as a grade for spelling.  As I said, we will review during school. 
 

Also, if your child has a reading part for mass on Friday, please make sure that you take the time each night to read it.

Have a wonderful Spring Break!  I wish you and your family a very happy and blessed Easter.  Please make sure that your child reads, practices their sight words and practices their math facts over break.  This will make the transition back to school easier!  We are getting ready for 2nd grade! 

Dear Parents,

I hope that you have all dug yourselves out of the snow!  Because of testing and snow days, I will not be testing the students on their sight words until next week.  I will test them on Tuesday, March 18.  After spring break I will test the students every Tuesday or Wednesday.  If you have any questions please let me know.  Also, please submit the address for the Flat Stanley project by Friday, March 14 so I can send our Stanley's out before spring break!  Thank you for your help and cooperation.
