Community Service Opportunities

Catholics believe that faith and good works go together.  During the school year, students are exposed to opportunites for good works and to encourage involvement with the greater community.

Examples of past projects are Red Cross blood drives, fundraising for Hurricane Katrina victims, the American Heart Association Jumpathon, the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Math-a-thon, and a walkathon for the Amercian Cancer Society.  Students also have the opportunity to serve the local parish or to work at hunger centers or drop-in centers, such as St. Augustine Hunger Center and St. Malachi in Cleveland.

During the school year, watch the News and Events listings for opportunities for students to perform good works.
