All schools inevitably need to fundraise in order to succeed, and fundraising would be impossible without the parents and students of the Academy of St. Adalbert. But we also know that you secretly bought that box of candy bars instead of sending your child out on the streets to sell them. You'd rather not be selling things to raise funds, right?
The Academy of St. Adalbert has been resourceful in seeking ways to raise money without selling. The programs and activities listed below take little time and effort but greatly benefit the school. Please explore and participate in these methods of fundraising, and help keep fundraising free of selling.
Note: If you find a school benefits program that we're not participating in, please let the office know by calling (440) 234-5529.

Two bright green and yellow containers next to the east door of the building are available for you to drop off your newspaper, magazines, shopping catalogs, office and school papers, and old mail. Paper is weighed by a scale on the collection truck, and funds are sent monthly to the Academy of St. Adalbert for the weight of paper collected for that month. When you drop off your paper, please make sure that it's free of plastic, glass, metal, and trash, as it can ruin the recycling process.

Adopt-a-Student
The Pastor and Tuition Committee of St. Adalbert Parish provide an assistance program called Adopt-a-Student for Academy of St. Adalbert students in financial need. Examples of some qualifying situations are:
- Parents who are having financial shortfalls in meeting tuition payments and whose students may have to withdraw from the Academy of St. Adalbert,
- Potential students whose families are having difficulty raising tuition in order to send their children to the Academy of St. Adalbert, and
- Families whose financial circumstances have changed to their disadvantage.
The Adopt-a-Student program is funded solely through the generosity of individuals and companies who contribute to the program. People just like you make it happen.
If you'd like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Adopt-a-Student program, there are two ways to do so:
- Parishoners can contribute any amount to Adopt-a-Student using the special envelopes they receive from the parish each month. Contributions can be placed in the offertory basket during Mass. You may also mail or deliver your contribution to the rectory.
- Non-parishoners, individuals, companies, or foundations may arrange for a contribution by calling the rectory at (440) 234-6830.
Thank you for considering a contribution to Adopt-a-Student and making a difference for Academy of St. Adalbert students in need.
