Science: We watched a video about Continental Drift and information about content we will be looking at shortly. There is no other homework

Math: Simple Solutions #9, there is a quiz on tuesday over the information that we have been working on these last few weeks.
Science: The students were assigned the review questions in section 1. They were given time in class to work on and if they were not finished it was homework.

Math: Simple Solutions #8, there is a quiz on simple solutions on Friday. There will be a small quiz on monday over all the math we have worked on up to this point.
Science: Fill in 1-9 of the review worksheet that was handed out in class
A current event article was assigned today in class. It is due on October 10th. The students are to find a science related article that is no older than 6 months. They are to read and write a summary of the article and what they learned. The article must be turned in with the summary.

Math: page 64 #4-7, we are working on applying the last two chapter into one. writing algebraic expressions and working on expressions with variables.

Today is Science we made smores using the procedures of a scientific method. As your student how specific they needed to be in order for me to make them right. The students had a fun time and really understood how important it is to be specific when writing a procedure for the scientific method.
