Room 2 Newsletter
Dear Parents,
This is what we will be working on in the 2nd grade this coming week:
Math: We will work on addition and subtraction facts to 10.
Phonics: We will work on initial, medial and final consonant sounds.
Religion: We will begin chapter 1, which focuses on “We are the Catholic Church.”
Reading: We will read the story “Henry and Mudge” and focus on sequence of events in stories.
Science: We will begin Chapter 1, which focuses on living/non-living things and plants.
Spelling: We will work on Lesson 1, which focuses on consonant sounds.
Handwriting: We will practice the manuscript form of letters l and I.
Classroom News
~There will be an early dismissal on Tuesday September 13th at 1:30.
~ Parent night will be on Thursday September 15th at 7:00. Hope to see you there!
