Science: We are learning about rockets and the NASA space program.  We watched a discovery movie about the program and the students have been assigned their rocket project.  Homework tonight is section 3 review in their books.

Science: 1-1 worksheet.  A current event article was assigned today in class.  It is due on October 10th.  The students are to find a science related article that is no older than 6 months.  They are to read and write a summary of the article and what they learned.  The article must be turned in with the summary.

Math: There is a quiz tomorrow on everything we have worked on so far in Chapter 1.  In class we worked on sample problems and went over them in class.  Study and make sure you are knowlegeable on what we are going to be testing on.

Science: There is a short quiz on the Scientific method.  We did a guided worksheet that was corrected in class.  The students are well prepared for the quiz.  Make sure you remember Aunt Mary Can Cook All Recipes.

Today is Science we made smores using the procedures of a scientific method. As your student how specific they needed to be in order for me to make them right.  The students had a fun time and really understood how important it is to be specific when writing a procedure for the scientific method.
